Ciscare was founded in 2005 by Sam Caughron, MD, a physician with a mission to improve the
landscape of healthcare related information technology. This mission drives the company's business
strategy, corporate vision and all of our operations.
Ciscare’s goal is to provide doctors with the information they need, when they need it, and
in a format that is usable by experienced medical practitioners. Our LARA™ Mobile technology
(Live Anywhere Record Access) connects wireless enabled handheld devices to hospitals’ information
systems, providing convenient anywhere, real-time access to patient information. This technology
puts critical patient care information into the hands of physicians so they can provide the highest
level of medical care possible. Reducing errors and increasing efficiency, LARA Mobile
improves patient care and physician satisfaction.
We also provide a desktop version of our LARA technology. LARA Desktop is easy to use in the
web browser of tablets and desktop computers. Reducing complexity and increasing efficiency,
LARA Desktop also improves patient care and physician satisfaction.
Our LARA Mobile Electronic Provider Ordering (MEPO) implements mobile electronic provider
ordering and integrates seamlessly with our LARA Mobile technology. MEPO puts the entire patient
chart into physicians’ hands and allows them to enter their most common orders with just a tap or
two. It is intuitive, easy-to-use and reduces errors and increases efficiency. |
